As part of one of our S.T.E.M. challenges, Primary 5 made tin foil boats. This was such an enjoyable challenge. Firstly, we made out simple boats out of tin foil only. The aim was to see how many glass pebbles it would hold before it sank. We then made another tin foil boat but we were allowed to add some lolly sticks, art straws and some plastic to see if we could improve them. The second time round, all of our boats held far more pebbles that the first time. The winning group, Titanic, had a boat which held 138 pebbles!
