Health and Wellbeing

At Bridge of Weir Primary, we use a range of programmes and approaches as part of our Health and Wellbeing Curriculum.

Bounce Back is used as a part of our Health and Wellbeing Curriculum to teach skills and attitudes to help children become more resilient. Each letter of Bounce Back represents the ten coping statements which are the core part of the program.

For these coping statements and more information on Bounce Back, read the Bounce Back for Parents Guide here.

As part of our Health and Wellbeing Curriculum, we use Emotion Works. Emotion Works is an educational programme for emotional learning and literacy.  It is based on a ‘cog’ model and works to build emotional literacy and understanding.

For a handy video that explains what Emotion Works is and how it us used in school click this link!
