November

What a busy month November has been!

Remember, Remember the 5th of November! We learnt about the importance of Fire Work safety and how to make sure we have fun whilst keeping ourselves and others safe during Bonfire Night. We then created our very own Fire Work art. We had to use our listening skills to follow the instructions to create our artwork. We think our pictures look spectacular!

Over the past few weeks, we have been learning about shape in Maths. Miss Mobbs set us the challenge of creating our very own 3D shapes. We had to use our knowledge of the properties of 3D shapes to create them. How do you think we did?

In class we have been reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. We heard about the amazing inventions that Mr Willy Wonka created in the book. We then challenged ourselves to come up with our own wonderful and wacky inventions. We then had our own P4a Dragon’s Den! We presented our inventions to the Dragons, and we had to decide how much money we would invest in the inventions. Maybe one day we will bring these inventions to life!

p.s. We have also been rehearing our performance for the Christmas Show. We can’t wait to see you there in December! 😊
