August & September

In September, we were learning all about the Jabberwocky. The is our imitation of the Jabberwocky monster. We created this freeze frame during a drama lesson.

We read the book, ‘A Pattern of Secrets’ and did our own weaving. We all became weavers for the afternoon and created weaving using paper and then wool. We learned the importance of going ‘under and over’!

During Maths Week Scotland, we learned how to create posters informing our classmates about maths. We collected information and displayed it on a bar graph.

We made a filter to make water cleaner and realised it was really hard work! We used wool, rocks, sand and a coffee filter in this challenge. As well as this STEM challenge, we learned the importance of having access to clean water and realised how lucky we are!
