Welcome back to school!
We are now in Primary 3 and ‘diving’ straight into reading with the story, The Storm Whale. One homework challenge involved us researching our favourite sea creature by reading for information from non-fiction books and online resources. We then drew detailed illustrations of our creature and labelled it with interesting facts, including some interesting adjectives.
In science, we began our Biodiversity and Interdependence unit by distinguishing between living, non-living and ‘never lived’ things. We sorted items we found around the playground, into groups and discussed our decisions.
